The Boodles Nations Cup at Adlington Hall, Cheshire

Red Squirrel Events is providing corporate hospitality for The Boodles 2008 Nations Cup.

Addlington Hall and gardens are the perfect setting for a quintessentially English garden party, accompanied by competitive grass court tennis from some of the world's great champions. A series of round robin matches culminating with a final will be mixed with a programme of music and entertainment.   

The competition will feature the following 5 teams playing doubles matches with a view to securing a place in Friday's Final:

The itinerary for the week is as follows:

OPENING DAYS PLAY - Tuesday 24th June

The first day of the Boodles Nations Cup will give you the chance to meet the players in the marquee before the action commences. Interviews over lunch as to which country may win the coveted title will be held with the team captains.

12.00pm - Pommery champagne reception

12.30pm - Introduction to the players and captains with interviews over 3 course gourmet lunch

2.35pm - Two round robin Nations Cup doubles matches

4.30pm - Afternoon tea in the marquee

5.00pm - One round robin Nations Cup doubles match

6.30pm - Close of Play - The bar will remain open until 8pm

Cost - £2748 + VAT per table of 12 (including rain insurance)

LADIES DAY - Wednesday 25th June

A firm favourite with the ladies who enjoy the finer things in life. Three exciting Nations Cup matches await following a Philip Armstrong Couture Fashion Show. 

12.00pm - Pommery champagne reception

12.30pm - 3 course gourmet lunch with wines - followed by the Philip Armstrong Couture Fashion Show

2.30pm - 2 x doubles matches

4.30pm - Afternoon tea

5.00pm - 1 x doubles match

6.30pm - Close of Play

Cost - 3348 + VAT per table of 12 (including rain insurance)

TENNIS & MUSIC - Thursday 26th June

The Boodles Legends Tennis Ball format is here to stay. Glamorous cocktail dresses and Black Tie compliment the fabulous setting for an evenings entertainment that swaps the court for the dance floor.

4.00pm - Pommery champagne reception

4.30pm - 2 x doubles matches

6.45pm - Close of Play - followed by (approx) pre-dinner drinks in the Pommery Bar

7.30pm - 3 course gourmet dinner including wines - followed by live music, entertainment and dancing

11.30pm - Carriages

Cost - £3360 + VAT per table of 12 (including rain insurance)

FINALS DAY & MUSIC - Friday 27th June

Always a popular day with guests. Who will be crowned champions for 2008 and who will be named Bluebell BMW Player of the Week? (for antics on and off the Court!)

4.00pm - Pommery champagne reception

4.30pm - Boodles doubles - Final followed by 1 exhibition doubles match

6.45pm - Close of Play - followed by (approx) pre-dinner drinks in the Pommery Bar

7.30pm - 3 course gourmet dinner including wines - followed by live music, entertainment and dancing

11.30pm - Carriages

NOTES

1) Rain insurance is included in the table price and guarantees 70% of your money back should you see less than 1 hours play due to rain.

2) Challenge a Legend! This is your opportunity to play with and against the Legends in the morning. Pro-ams held at David Lloyd Leisure, Cheadle. Places are limited. £350 + VAT per place.

3) If your company would like an introduction to tennis, then why not organise a group clinic for you and your clients prior to the tennis. Clinics are available at David Lloyd Leisure, Cheadle on the morning of the event. All standards of players welcome.

4) Upgrade your seating from the Grandstand to a Private Box courtside. Boxes are available for an extra £400 + VAT, assuring you waitress service and unlimited wine, Pimms and mineral water for you and your guests.
