The Town Moor course traditionally launches the flat racing season with the Lincoln Handicap at the end of March and brings it to a close with the November Handicap.
Highlight of the season is the 4 day St. Leger Festival which in 2008 takes place between 10th - 13th September. This meeting combines top quality racing with tradition, fashion and glamour. The St. Leger itself is the world's oldest Classic and dates back to 1776.
The Racing Post Trophy is another top horse racing meeting at Doncaster and in 2008 is scheduled to take place on 24th and 25th October.
